With the aim of answering the increasing demands of the market, the Demad company engaged an approach of stake in conformity and obtained the ORGANIC EXCHANGE CERTIFICATE.

During a ceremony held on 30 April 2010, DEMAD presented 25 of its employees with long-service medals and certificates in recognition of their 15 years of work. The photos of the event were online in the “Activities” section.

DEMAD donates thousands pieces of clothes to the humanitarian association AKAMASOA as part of its charity activities.

At the beginning of school year 2009, DEMAD offers all staff members with children the possibility to get 0% interest rate loan in order to improve their capacity to pay for their children’s education expenditures.

Upon an initiative by staff representatives, DEMAD organizes a full day recreational outing with all the staff and their families at Analamanga Park, 26km south to Antananarivo. The outing was an occasion for picnics, hikes, live shows, sport meetings, music, and dances.

DEMAD is audited by the certifier organism SGS as part of setting up of its “social and environmental” code of conduct. The audit results were positive for both companies in the group, ARAWAK and DEMAD, who subsequently were awarded SGS compliance certificates.

DEMAD applies for long-service medals at the Ministry of Labor to the benefit of 25 employees with more than 15 years of seniority.
